Squid game has commenced in the north again this weekend

They should rather have a population countdown board

So we understand they’re really playing games with peoples lives

Honestly I don’t even bother for the death statistics anymore cos

the deaths recorded in the previous govts has nothing on this present regime

The headline should rather be:

"Vigilante Group Kills 11 Fulani Muslim Terrorists"

Why is it that anyone defending themselves against Fulani bastards are called terrorists?

Those who killed the pastor in Kano have not been arrested.

Those who killed the Fulanis have been arrested. Good but let there be justice for all.

The Fulanis cannot withstand the Hausas when the jungle mature. Attacking unarmed villagers with AK 47 rifles when they least expect and most times in the night is no bravery. Ten armed women with an Ak 47 can sack a whole village, so it's not bravery ok. Their saving grace is because the Hausas still sees them as their brothers because of Islam. Take that away and watch the Hausas deal with them. The Fulanis all through haven't won any conventional war. Check the recent one that happened in Central Africa republic where the people revolted and used locally made guns to fight back and still dealt with them even when they used automatic rifles and even tanks. The country's armoury was in their hands and they were still dealt with badly. Many of them are now refugees in other countries.

I doubt that the Hausas will be able to do anything to the Fulanis. The Fulanis conquered them in 1804 and have since subjugated them. The Hausas have basically accepted their fate as inferior to the Fulanis. I am not aware of Hausas agitating for their freedom.

You can proscribe Hausa vigilante who protect the community but can't proscribe Fulani bandits.

You're incorrect.

Fulanis are the last who give a hoot about religion.

I always find it interesting when people try to analyze the situation in the country strictly through the lens of religion.

If only they knew that Fulanis are majorly traditionalists not Muslims. They only use Islam to subdue others.

It didn't happen in the East nah. Substitute Sokoto with Enugu or Abia and watch this post get up to 50 pages. Anyway I am now happy that the Hausas are waking. The next big fight will be between the Hausas and the terrorist Fulanis and that will mark the end of all Futa Jalon terrorists in Nigeria. We will send back to Niger and Chad republic to reunite with their Kiths and kin.

We shall be glad to help the Hausas with logistics and manpower to destroy those accursed sons of perdition.

Fulanis have not been on any religious adventures since Dan Fodio. They're not very particular about culture or tradition or politics.

Fulanis are survivalists, and nothing more.

The bandits wreaking havoc are doing it purely for economic reasons. The nomads fighting farmers are also doing it for economic reasons.

But the south is never satiated until it injects an unhealthy dose of ethnic, religious and political narrative into everything in Nigeria.

Hausas may have issue with Fulani but they can't fight and push Fulani away. All the Emirs are Fulanis, Fulanis have already taken over everything in Hausa land except their language. They have so much married themselves that most ppl have both Hausa/Fulani blood in them. Lastly, most of the highly placed ppl from the North are Fulanis, majority of the governor's in the North are Fulanis.

I agree! It's more of economic than ethnic or religious. They need land by force for their cattle; otherwise, they resort to kidnapping and banditry.
