Look at your example again, a degree is an achievement! You cannot END it! It confers a permanent status of a graduate.
Your marriage can end NOW, at will! A married person today can be unmarried tomorrow, it is not a theory it is reality and it is called divorce (Bill Gates, and hundreds of thousands all over the world). It is not an achievement, otherwise divorce should also be an achievement from some people's perspective. A shoemaker can meet an orange seller today and then get married tomorrow with two witnesses and life goes on. It's a big deal for some as it took several years to decide on it and for others it is no big deal. However, your degree is a big deal! You can't just wake up today and say you are getting a degree next week. A degree is an achievement, a marriage is not.

Many people have lost trust in marriages because of finances and some just do it to fulfil all righteousness. Marriage is great when marrying the right partner. Organically, we are binary beings.

Call the older people in your village or extended families and actually establish if it was morning or afternoon of evening or night. That will help narrow it down. I was born after my mother returned from evening Market and was about preparing soup. That help me predict 7pm to 9pm.
