My personal experience
1 tablet per day is enough, anything more triggers anxiety.
There’s a slight increase in blood flow/heart beat. ( more reason not to overdose)

Rubifen is slightly better because it starts working a lot quicker compared to Ritalin.

Both drugs gave me insomnia, sometimes I sleep around 4:00am. so take it in the morning around 6-7am so the effects can reduce before bedtime.

Hello, besides insomnia what's the crash and come down on Ritalin like ?

Nah 10,500 for two sachets in a pack so that’s 30 tabs.

But yeah with the economy things are pretty pricey.

My prescription is with alpha pharmacy so I can easily get my refill waybill via gokada.

But the prescription is from a government hospital ( Nigerian Navy Reference hospital)
They charge 1k for consultation fee, while the private can charge between 30k to 60k since you’re seeing a specialist.

Looking back, my post blew up here even though it has very few interactions lots of people contacted the pharmacies and demand shot up ⬆️ like crazy . I couldn’t get my medication because they were always out of stock they told me demand was crazy.

I’m in Canada now so I don’t know the current prices. I would imagine it would be even more unaffordable this period given the exchange rates and inflation combined as both pharmacies import the meds.

I've got severe ADHD, along with its half-sibling—Cognitive Disengagement Syndrome (CDS). I can't afford the medications, and I've tried everything imaginable except the drugs—nothing works. It has already wrecked my life, and continues to further do so. Just watching everything slip away,and powerless to stop it.

Can general practitioners prescribe it,I thought only prescription from psychiatrists will be accepted?
