A popular and charismatic political journalist from South Africa, Malungelo Booi, was on Friday watched by millions of viewers across the continent reporting from the Dare Devil Run launch campaign - an initiative raising awareness around testicular cancer in men - dresssed in nothing but a purple tight-fitting speedo (swimming underwear).

The award-winning journalist with over a decade of reporting experience for major South African media houses including eNCA, was reporting Live for Newzroom Afrika from SA's capital city, Pretoria - with a similarly scantly dressed crowd of men of all races.

His near-unclad appearance got a lot of tongues wagging on social media, with the host of the show Stephen Grootes praising him for his bravery live on-air.
