Well you stated the few you can lay your hands on, the fact remains that it was much more than that.
The easterners have been and will remain the live wire of this country and that is why the abokis can never ever allow them regain their freedom.
I laugh at people agitating for biafra struggle because they are not yet serious if they expecting the mallams up North to give them referendum.
You must be able to march them in arms for them to reason your else you are just joking.

In addition, the defunct eastern region of Nigeria was adjudged by the British as the richest real-estate in the British commonwealth. It had one of the best secondary schools in Africa and fondly called the Eton College of Nigeria.

You sound really stvpid with this writeup.. how many times have the Northerners given Igbos quit notice to leave North that your people refused?

Is it until they start killing you like they did in the 90s' that you'll get the memo noone needs you or wants your presence anymore. Nonsense!

Of course Eastern Nigeria was prospering because of coal the fuel of industrialization which was in abundance in Eastern Nigeria, Port Harcourt was created exclusively by the British around 1912 for the exportation of coal from the hinterland.

Every part of Nigeria was prosperous but the most prosperous, just like it has been since the creation of Nigeria,is the SW...Western Region.
SW built first skyscrapper, first olympic stadium ,first newspaper...Tribune...Iroyin Yoruba,SW gave Nigeria TV,Radio etc.
It was envy that made Aguiyi Ironsi et al stop this phenomenal growth because SE was backward compared to the rich SW.
