I'm looking for some changes in certain areas of my life. A relative of mine said I should rub white candle all over my body and then rub money all over my body and then pray. What do these mean? What are they meant to do? Are these Christian practices?

This is classic paganism or voodoo practice and has nothing to do with Jesus Christ or what He infact asked His followers to do.

What this means is that your cousin is a voodoo worshipper masquerading as a Christian. As for what it is meant to do, you need to get that information from your cousin as he/she would need to fill you in on what the demon he/she worships intends for the candle to accomplish in that case.

Go on your knees and pray to God with fasting and prayers until the desired changes manifest.

Open the Bible for yourself and read so you are not easily moved or deceived by these folks. You only need to read the 4 Gospels to learn of the Truth of Christianity as that is where Jesus Christ , God's Law in the Kingdom of God - His teachings and commandments to His followers - is detailed.

Majority of those who call themselves Christians today have adopted idolatry but but sure that God is not fooled.

Go to Isaiah 58 to learn of the good works God instead said you should do when you think of fasting for Him. And you will see that your starving yourself has been against God.

Christianity is as defined by Jesus Christ - the details are found spoken of by Him in the 4 Gospels.

Every other practices that are imported are not of Him and mostly from Pagan or voodoo practices.

No where in Matthew 4 vs 2 are you told that Jesus Christ fasted of choice or in obedience of any of God's command. Instead, the verse explains that He fasted as as result of being out in the wilderness for 40 or 40 days. A similar incident took place in Exodus when Moses, we are told, fasted for 40 days and 40 nights, a result of being up in the mountain with God - Exodus 34 vs 28.

The same Jesus Christ then goes on to tell you that those who belong to Him are those who do as He says- not as He did - John 15 vs 14 - Obedience of His teachings and commandments being the key here.

So where God has not in fact commanded a thing, those who do it, do it to honor themselves and not God.
