He will be substituted.In case of the man in question he DIES by decamping to another party. He will be substituted It is a party affair which will be effected with a letter to INEC. I don't think this report is right. A party should be able to write a letter to INEC informing them of the new occurrence. They will only submit a new name to substitute the former. Meanwhile, I think it is better if Maduka forms alliance with Soludo of APGA, because he can't win Anambra election with Accord Party.

He is not automatically disqualified.The deputy governor has to write to INEC to notify them that he is no longer seeking to be a candidate in the election,that is the only time he will be removed or exempted from the election.Whatever they are doing in Andy Uba's house does not affect INEC at all.If INEC removes the deputy governor after getting an official letter ,it will also automatically notify Accord Party that the party should submit a replacement.

Nothing like that. As far as INEC is concerned, the window to withdraw or change candidate has passed so that guy remains the running mate and if per chance Maduka wins, he will be sworn in as deputy governor....wether he likes it or not.

There is time frame for normination and replacement of candidates, that time has elapsed. Check electorial guidelines.
