My Alternator Fan Belt Of My 2002 Benz C200 Cuts Often. by afesco(op): 12:04pm On Oct 21, 2021*

Pls, I need help. I changed d alternator pulley after my mechanic told me to change it but d fan belt cut after five days. I have lost count of d number of fan belts I have changed in few months.

Try to change all d pulleys both on d engine and alternator and make sure they set it properly dont try to cut Conner's if they tell dis one or dat is still good just change and peace of mind

Ok thanks but I have changed d pulley in the alternator.

Try to change all d pulleys both on d engine and alternator and make sure they set it properly dont try to cut Conner's if they tell dis one or dat is still good just change and peace of mind

I will do as have said and I was also advised to buy I belt ( that is d one dt comes directly from d engine).

Well belt have life span so d possibly of getting used used belt I can't subscribe to but just try what i said earlier sha Best of luck

I was told new belt doesn't last long but d belt u get directly from d engine lasts long. I will change all d pulley by next week

Buy brand new OEM belt and make sure the pulley/tensioner is free of wear and tear.
