I am cultured person. There is African culture that I find primitive and that I do not subscribe - and that I want it ended. I know it's unafrican to hate different people. I do not subscribe to witchraft. I do not subscribe obviously to christianity

There are things that I subscribe though in our culture. I believe in life after death - not in christian way - but in our culture we believe that a person is re-born in a dead relative. I am for example named after my great grandfather - who died 70 yrs before I was born- this done randomly - and we believe if that person was a thief or something - you're likely to be one. That make sense to me - genetically we are re-born in our kids or relatives - gene pool survive that way. I also randomly named my kids after our dead relatives following our traditions

I subscribe to male cut and the ceremonies around it- but I oppose female cut (which was our culture and growing up I believe it) - but has been proven to be bad. Our people have since left the practise. If we had insisted it was our culture to cut females too...that would retrogressive and primitive.

So culture is dynamic. But it not anybody culture to hate people who are different from us, to practise culture that have been shown to be inimical, or to engage in witchcraft and vodoo.
