All the northern regions and mid belt region have 7 states, south west and south south have 6 states in it. Why is it only south east region that has only 5 states accrue to it?

States are not based on land size, they are based on population. The population of just Anambra State is almost that of Delta State and Edo state combined

Lagos State should be two or three states with a population of over 20 million. This state system is nonsense, we should have Regions, not states

Stop Lying. Delta state has more population than Anambra state.
And Edo state population is slightly less than Anambra.

Both in. Population and Landmass, SE is suppose to be 2 or 3 states maximum. They don't even deserve 5 states.

The states were not created according to the current fraudulent Regions. So, we cannot whole heartedly refer to the current fraudulent six regions with the old North having 3 Regions. As a matter of fact, if we consider the original Regions that we had when we practiced Regional Government, then we will consider only North, South-East and South-West.
