Nigerian Wrestler Blessing Oborududu, Awarded N1m By Southern Ijaw LGA Chairman (Photos)

Executive Chairman of Southern Ijaw LGA, in Bayelsa State, Chief (Hon) Kia Ebidoughebofa Nigeria and other members of his council received and honoured Nigerian wrestler and Tokyo Olympics Silver medalist, Blessing Oborududu at Oporoma, Headquarters of Southern Ijaw Local Government in Bayelsa State, IgbereTV reports.

At the reception organized to honour her, the Chairman, said he was very impressed with her performance especially at the Tokyo Olympics, that she is an inspiration to many.

The High point of the event was the presentation of One Million Naira Cheque to Blessing Oborududu

Blessing Oborududu expressed deep appreciation to the Chairman for honouring her and other stars from the LGA. She also encouraged co-wrestlers and youths to work within their best to push their careers to greater heights.
