A lot.

All we have to do is integrate the eNaira to China's promoted mCBDC bridge for cross border payments and every importer infact everyone will be able to send eNaira to the bridge and its automatically converts to eyuan instantly and you import machineries for production.

Two things will happen.
1. You won't need to buy dollar to import
2. You can easily buy machineries for production and so import with be reduced so dollars will be less needed.

Who ever has much dollars should sell. It's about to go cheap once a bridge for cross border payment is integrated.
I could write about how to increase the velocity of money by accelerating the technologies and building platforms to accelerate integration.

I was not excited about Nigeria until today. I can't wait to design systems for this.

PoS businesses will really help to mop up the old legacy naira into this so there is new type of merchant business kiosks will spring up and after years will die cos we won't need PoS anymore after the mop up phase. Taxing will be easy, tracking will be superb. And trading platform built around this can be monitored. There SEC must design a legit trading platform or illegal players will take over the space. Whether SEC builds it or not, they need to back builders and legalize it, and tax it. It is will bring massive prosperity to the intelligent
Have been following you, good insight.
At least, I have seen someone hopeful about the eNaira like me. Awaiting your development.

Thanks buddy. Anyone who knows how money works will understand that what we have just witnessed is a revolution for prosperity. It's over for the old legacy system at the long run that floats our finances for profiteering on the marginal differences.

The advantages are immense.

I'm personally giving out loan to few people here on Nairaland for business purpose. I wish to startup a loan shark business but want to test my knowledge here on Nairaland first and see how it goes before going fully into it. Hence i want to start with 3 million here as a test and see how it goes and how profitable it is. Maximum amount I'm giving out to a person is 500k. Minimum is 100k. I have done an intensive research from various loan companies and I know how it works and I heard it's profitable. My loan terms include:

* NO COLLATERAL
* INTENSIVE VERIFICATION PROCESS
* LOAN FOR BUSINESS PURPOSE ONLY.
* EVERY STATE IN NIGERIA IS WELCOME
* MONTHLY INTEREST RATE OF 3%
* LOAN MAXIMUM DURATION REPAID PERIOD OF NOT MORE THAN 6 MONTHS.
* PHYSICAL VERIFICATION APPLIED WHERE NEEDED.

This sounds too much like Unicorn Meat.

Too much promises from a system that is basically good at nothing.
In whatever way you do a transaction, especially in global trade, there must always be an exchange rate mechanism. Enaira will be as useful or or useless as the Underlying currency. You make it sound like the Dollar is the problem. A weak naira against the Euro, Pounds, Dollar will also make the e-naira weak against the Won, Yen and CFA, etc.

I'm still not sure how E-naira is supposedly going to help improve trade or the strenght of the Naira.

I remain skeptical.

Seems you are very knowledgeable about this.

Can you bring your explanation down to a layman's level, especially for someone who has never invested in any BTC till now.

What are the advantages of this?

How can an ordinary Nigerian get involve... I mean start acquiring and spending eNaira?

Why will someone with eNaira not need USD...I mean how do I buy goods from abroad without first going to Bank or Abokis to do foreign exchange?

Thanks.

So, because of eNonsense you won go sell your dollar?

If you're a woman, you need serious fuc!k from 72 street men.

..and if you're a man, you need everlasting beating, blue-black type!

Till 1Dollar = 1Naira.

If Naira is to challenge Dollar, not in the next 20 years, even if efforts are put in place now!!!

The illierates of the future are not those who can't read or write but those who do not compute signals over noise.

I need to focus on how to design systems that can be integrated with this evolution of prosperity and hire the best programmers to help us make life easier to the humanities from Nigeria, now I have hope for Nigeria.

If you have a lot of dollars, Take them out and invest in high velocity financial vehicles.

I do not give such advise for free. But I just did that for free.

This is the beginning of digital economy and high velocity money.

We will see our wealth escalate with the cbn 100 for 100 PPP. I need to buy a drink for Emefiele. We have just beaten France to their effort to control ecowas economy.

Good analogy but it will take time and forced FG transactions on people before it is adopted, and what ever the convertion it will still be based on dollar equivalent,

Try not to speak for anyone else apart from yourself. Conversion will not be based on 'USD' because there is no digital USD yet, at the moment there are 3 parallel m-cbdc bridges and China alongside UAE, Saudi and two other countries are already promoting it. And even if it is going to be based on legacy dollar, with mcbdc bridges you do not need the dollars to import from china, which is where most of our import comes from.

When we do not need dollars to import from china, the price of will fall woefully and naira value will go up. This more than a prophesy, this is a prediction. It is what is going to happen.
