Jesus asked what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?

In simple terms.. God does not want anyone to lose his soul. Yet He wants His children to prosper but should not die trying to get rich and if they must be rich they should be saved as well by believing in Christ.
Definitely a man can gain the whole world if he can but price of his soul is complete in Christ. I don't know if you understand this simple explanation. Get rich but don't die a sinner. Be poor, yet don't die as a sinner. Either you are rich or poor, the ultimate is life in Christ who is the Author of all souls. Get rich and love God.

Christianity preaches contentment and not luxury. You cannot actually be rich as a real pastor cos you will share out everything to those that have needs.

You obviously have a problem with comprehension. Where did I say I have a belief that poverty in a sign of godliness.. Don't u understand 'contentment'.? And no one has shown me anyone in the scriptures that became weathy on account of following Christ.. I challenge you to show me from scriptures otherwise, disappear
