*Accountant / Controller*

The following vacancy exists in a client's Firm.

• The candidate will have the responsibility of a controller overseeing team of accountants working in client's office and provide support to the team members.

• Should have working knowledge of accounting, tax, compliance and audit functions.

• Should possess ability to display knowledge and application of IFRS, CAMA, in the preparation of SME's financial reports.

The candidate must have a clear understanding of audit process and appreciable knowledge of managing audit engagements.

• Ability to identify relevant risk from business process and design appropriate response to risk identified.

• Ability to identify weaknesses in control and provide recommendations with a view to adding value to the business of the client.

• Must be experienced in Filing tax retuns ( CIT, EDT, PAYE, VAT, WHT)

Qualifications

• B.Sc., HND - 2.1 / upper credit

• ICAN or ACCA qualification

• Minimum of 4 years’ post ICAN experience

• Required candidates Must be computer Savvy in microsoft Excel, Word & Power Point

Candidates must have , practical experience in Quick books or similar accounting softwares

Passing ICAN had already made up for the "PASS" not to mention 4 years post qualification experience.
