how can a SGR from the 1800s be more technologically advance then NGR from 1800s?? You do realize it doesn't take a brain surgeon to simply widen a track gauge..... NGR is better suited to South African terrain just how it is in Japan... Hence why we use it.... You get modern trains that run on NGR as well just like our brand new metro trains.


Also did I say had?? My mistake has the best rail system in the world...

P.s the US ranks far ahead of China in terms of infrastructure on any index
