He fought civil war against Biafra, only ingrates won’t appreciate Buhari’s effort – Gov Yahaya Bello. Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has said only ingrates would not appreciate the achievements, sacrifices and efforts made by President Muhammadu Buhari for Nigeria. Bello also said that President Buhari fought the civil war against Biafrans to keep the country together. The governor stated this on Wednesday when he received traditional and political leaders from Daura and other parts of Katsina State at Kogi State’s government lodge in Abuja. “It will take an ingrate not to appreciate what President Buhari has been doing and is still doing for this country. Buhari from history has been sacrificing and is still sacrificing for the unity, security, prosperity, and for the emancipation of this country right from his days in the military and now as a civilian. He added, “He fought the civil war to keep the country together. He didn’t fight from his office but from the war front, which means he was ready to sacrifice his life for the unity of the country.
