Not really, He has being doing this kind of thing since b4 he was a governor & in charge of IDPs. Some workers at UMTH said the man actually follows que with ordinary people even when he was a commissioner

Whether the governor declares health care free is not the issue. The point is, if government declares health care free then they have to appropriately fund the health system for such system to sustain itself since the hospital won't have any revenue from patients. But when a government declares free health care but doesn't appropriately fund such system then the hospitals would be forced to charge patients for such services because it's through this that workers will be paid, drugs for treatment will be purchased, reagents for basic lab tests will be purchased etc. So the problem might not be at the level of those in charge of the hospital but rather the politicians who are expected to fund and equip such hospitals

This is an example of an ineffective way of fighting corruption. Listen to me, as soon as he leaves that places, they will continue. This is the fact.

The only way to reduce corruption drastically is to improve the economy and create jobs. Then sack these corrupt ones there. The new ones will not do it since they would have learned. But when you sack these corrupt ones and the condition the new ones live is still not good, the new ones will do worse. This is the truth.

Most thugs do not like what they do for living. Even go to bus parks and you find good boys. They just had to toughen up and act wild cos the whole place is rough. If there are well paid jobs for unskilled labor, I am sure over 80% will quit thuggery. Now tell me how the chairman like MC Oluomo will have boys around him. That's it. He and the rest acting as chairmen of "area boys" are finished. Police will stop collecting bribes when you increase their salary, you give them good accomodation, empower their wives to have shops and retail, and them give them discounts for their children education. They know that once they are sacked, they are finished. Who will want to collect N100k on the road for such?

Listen carefully, our politicians and leaders are the real thugs and thieves. Even this Zulum you are hailing is a thief who should be behind bars. The money he has stolen is far more than the peanuts these people he is sacking will accumulate for 100 years if they will work that long.

And like I have written earlier, the start is to get nuclear power into Nigeria. Our population is over exploding and we will continue deceiving ourselves relying on renewable and gas. These are too costly options. Better we go for nuclear now.
