The problem with tourists visiting Nigeria is that although lagos is the richest state in Nigeria ( economic capital), Abuja in my view is actually the best place to be in Nigeria. But probably 80% of new comers to Nigeria visit Lagos first. I also have families in Lagos mainland and friends in Ibadan. Truth be told I found those places a little bit stressful but interesting when I visited. I lived all my life in warri Nigeria, calm places like Edjeba and Airport road warri, so Lagos was a slightly different experience for me.

As for corruption at the Lagos airport, it's sad actually and again the Abuja airport is quite different in that regard. I think Government must do something about corruption at the Lagos Airport.

You should compare with what Sabbatical said about Kenya...like many people until they visit Kenya to find some Africa most educated,worldy, hardworking,fun loving and enterprising trilingual people..with great buzzling and organized cities with world-class facilities..in an incredibly beautiful country with one of most biodiverse nature..they won't know what will hit them..many never go back or keep coming.Two last USA ambassadors after their tour end decided to stay..many decides to even take Kenya citizenship..for they know Kenya is a country you can enjoy your life..only issue is petty police corruption

You can ask anybody here I am hundred percent Nigeria I have shown my driving licence and passport a number of occasions on this forum especially on the Tread wear Kenya is ahead of Nigeria in all aspects I have shown my passport more than three times I am born and bred in Nigeria. But one thing I will never do tell myself lies about my country and the situation of my country I will always tell myself the truth about what is happening sithole. It is not think about that mounting your country it is telling the truth and moving forward as long as you are not open minded and you cannot tell yourself the truth you can never move forward in life
