While it seems Spartacus is popular but power has a cult following, like the series became a culture amongst Fans.
I think after outlander, power is the most followed Starz show and the reason why people loved power is that people followed it to the latter and are still following the spinoffs till date.

Most people that started outlander didn't finish it, some Left the show behind and went to watch other shows but majority, like 98% of the people that started power followed it till the end.

Episodes 1 - 5 held so much promise. From there it’s a shit fest till the show ends. The characters act stupid and I don’t know why this is a running theme in modern film and TV. The androids are meant to act on logic and yet are the most emotional characters in the whole series save for their more emotional offspring. It does make sense why Mother acts emotional, but then Father gets in on the act. I enjoyed how when he does he’s quick to default back to logic.

Travis Fimmel does a great act of a man slowly consumed by insanity. His and the androids’ plot armour is otherworldly, just when you think any would die, fate saves them. It got me so annoyed that I thought of quitting the series early. I’m completely done after season 1. That’s the last time Ridley Scott’s children would trick me into watching garbage using his reputable name. Episode 10 was what-the-Bleep-did-I-just-watch. I’ve warned you beforehand.

Sci-Fi fans should watch this. I’m not so keen on the genre any more. People highly rated Netflix’s Altered Carbon and I hate both the show and Kinnaman’s tough guy acting.

Androids act based on their programming. In several show and movies I have watched, the higher the display of emotions the more advanced they were. The less advanced ones were the ones acting all logical.

The theme song was the best aspect of the show. The style was reminiscent of Mars. It won’t shock me to learn it was the same team who worked on both. Mother, Father and Travis Fimmel were excellent in their roles.

Whenever I hear of androids in a show or movie, I want human-looking devices devoid of emotion. The helper robots from episode 2 and 7 were a breath of fresh air from the ones forced on us. I seriously hated Mother’s berating of Father’s actions through 5 episodes only to call him her equal in the 6th. WTF. Westworld did androids best in their internal designs and cancellation of emotions unless when the androids wanted them. I could not make sense of this show’s androids’ internals.

Campion, the fucking little runt. Paul was better in decision making until the WTF episode. IQ 200 boy all of a sudden felt remorse for his captors. I preferred Tempest out of all the children since I could write off her actions on pregnancy hormones.

Breaking Bad is one of the best series ever. The writer(s) of the show is/are undoubtedly creative. The only show i rate over BB is Game of Thrones.

Kemp know for the Good Wife & The Bernie Mac show Created and did most of the writing on power and also served as the showrunner for the series. Randy Huggins is the creator of Black Mafia Family while 50 cent served as executive power.
Bro in Hollywood when a popular celebrity is attached to a movie, series or even consumer product, the Company who own the product usually promote the product heavily with the celebrity.
I am not saying 50 cent didn't contribute to the success of power, but I'm saying they would have been ok without him. FYI power is not the number one(highest rated) show on Starz, its Outlander and they also have very good show like American gods, Spanish Princess, Black Sails etc.

And Black Sails was a hit too.
