After being dumped in a black polythene bag along a farm path in Adaka village of Makurdi Local Government Area of Benue State, a newborn baby has been rescued. sleekgist

The good Samaritan who rescued the baby named Joy Kwatse , told journalists that she was going to her farm after it stopped raining when she noticed the bag.

She said she found the child struggling for survival, and having mud all over her body even as soldier ants had eaten her head, face and buttocks.

Kwatse said;

The truth is that there is serious poverty in the land and the female gender in teens are making out ways to catèr for them selve as parent can no longer live up to expectation

My experience at Ogolonto ikorodu Road lagos

I have a project at Agric and normally settle some workers at Ogolonto because of proximity to the workers house

On this day i was there and i saw 2 girls between age 13 and 15 going into a room with a man at his 60

The man took the 2 little girls and when they finished and the man has gone
I follow them to find out their issues
They appear very happy that the man gave them 1k each and that money was ok for both them and their younger ones for that night

I askes about their sch
One was in jss 2 and the other sss1 both from different parent.

I was afraid ro contact the police because the highest bidder is the winner in Nigeria stations

All these are because of the poverty in our land
Teenage pregnacy and child abandoning on street might increase if things dont change
