Pregnant Monkey

This monkey mother would be happier to just give birth rather than carry them around like this for much longer.

Pregnant Zebra

Zebras are native to the grasslands of Africa and are often at threat from a large number of predators. Because of this, the chances of a pregnant zebra female making it through childbirth are a lot smaller.

Even if she stays close to her partner, low water supply and a wide array of predators means threats can come at any moment.

Because of this, zebras tend to group together and keep females in the center of the pack, while males defend the outside

While some may find these cats rather ugly to look at, others find them incredibly exotic or funny but one thing’s for sure is a pregnant Sphynx looks like something you’ll only see once.

Pregnant Hippopotamus.

They often hide just under the surface of the water and people in boats accidentally get too close without seeing them, causing them to attack.

Pregnant Hippo’s are thought to be the most dangerous up close, so it’s best to leave this big momma where she is and mind your way.

Pregnant Beluga Whale

The Beluga Whale is native to the cold waters of the northern Arctic waters.

Beluga’s were hunted for their fat/oil and meat for hundreds of years.

Now they’re a protected species.

That’s great news for this pregnant beluga who seems to be carrying a very healthy baby.

Pregnant Giraffe

On average, a giraffe pregnancy lasts around 14-15 months, which is a ridiculously long time to be carrying around an unborn child for.

Giraffes tend to prefer grazing in grasslands and along riversides, which often makes them a primary target for crocodiles, lions, and other predators.

Because of this, giraffes tend to stick together, especially when a female is pregnant.

Male giraffes have been known to bash their necks against one another in order to claim a female partner, sometimes even resulting in death

Jealousy in relationship is as intrinsic & evolutionary, just as it is universal amongst lower animals and man.

All these animals are at their most vulnerable state during pregnancy. As cute as they are with pregnancy, I just feel sympathy for them realising the increased dangers they go through day by day throughout the duration of their pregnancies. Mothers are unique, be it humans or non-humans.
