How?

Sometimes I wonder how you youths turn very serious national matters to tribal jokes? You hear that people get killed going to their farms daily and you think such a serious matter should be made mockery of. In the end a lot of you cry daily about hunger and lack of job opportunities.

When herders access people’s ancestral lands under the pretence the a Fulani man is the president of the country, to kill and destroy their means of livelihood, every reasonable person should rise up to reject it. Now we have food crisis all over the country. Rather than being sincere, we have a president who stated that the middlemen are the problem with food. He deliberately did not want to tell us that herdsmen and bandits started the crisis from the north and also chased farmers away from the farms in the north, leading us to the crisis that we experience today.

Presently there is a partial closure of the southern border in the name of smuggling of rice. Hypocritically the northern borders are controlled by bandits and terrorists, giving room for a free flow of smuggling of rice and other items. Now farmers cannot go to their farms, importers find it difficult, our currency is in a mess and hunger fills the land. Is it time to get funny or wake up and live? The south is affected by the problems of the north and the peace of many communities in the entire south has been taken away.

Is it going to take an all out war for you all to address serious national matters appropriately?
