We rarely ever deploy KDF on internal matters. KDF for most of time has been used to provide international peace and security - all over Africa, Asia and Europe.

In short our police force are enough to waste Nigeria or Uganda or Tanzania army.

Boko Haram are even more stronger than Nigeria militia. The rebels walking on foot are even more deadlier than EDNF Militia. Let us therefore agree that Boko Haram, Ethiopia rebels, Nigeria, Ethiopia milita....are all weaker than KDF.

kdf is now starting to invest in 5th generation warfare which is conducted primarily through non-kinetic military action, such as social engineering, misinformation.They already established a cyber command sometime in 2018 and this month they launched stratcom ..mainly for information warfare but under the guise of Tv and radio station.
Remember outfits such as Boko-haram and Alshabaab are already very good at propaganda and disinformation . Modern militaries should be able to effectively counter this since it's already a type of warfare.
kdf in Somalia is also building hospitals, schools, roads, providing water pans, organizing football matches e.t.c in what we call win the hearts and minds campaign (social engineering) thus effectively drying the pool from which Al-Shabab recruit from.

Read the story again. This time slowly. KDF has crashed choppers. Those chopper were training helicopter. That one in Machakos in 2008 and recently in near Nairobi which killed 17.

Again those are training helicopters.....that is expected. It's part of training....some upstart make a mistake and crash.

Now look for helicopter that were crashed in combat like in Nigeria.

Do you know what is called air sorties, the attrition rate is minimal compared to even developed countries, those helis and aircrafts fly almost everyday and for hours, how do you expect them not to develop fault. Us crashed their f35 on many occasions.

No single airforce in Africa flies the number of sorties flown by naf in a day. They carry out air raids in Niger, Chad and Cameroon.

Military main role is to provide security to Nigeria - not to engage in theoritical war with Kenya. Where will we ever meet so we can fight? That Nigeria army is better than Kenya is irrelevant unless we somehow meet and engage in war.

What is more relevant is whether your security forces are securing Nigeria against internal and external aggression.

On that count - your military has failed.

In the last terror attack - police dealt with situation - very quickly.

Mistake was to involve KDF in mall attack - this has been fixed. KDF has had it's low moments - getting mixed up in West Gate Mall and Doble attack in Somalia are those few - in an otherwise illustrious defence force.

There is nothing like Chinese mines in Ghana and that is why, this whole operation caught less than 10 Chinese as the majority of miners are Ghanaians and own by Ghanaians, the Chinese are machinery contractors..
