Talk of inflation & hyperinflation – which leads to loss of people’s savings, rise in uncertainty and loss of confidence in the financial system, and the aftermath which will sink your country deep into dept hence making it difficult to achieve economic expectations/goals.

By the expanse of the war in your country, it's not rocket science to see stiffness in countering the war. Your safety now lies upon the government to implement strategies well fit for the country to succeed. Don't rush to the expense of consuming innocent lives, You'll fail terribly if that is the route.

Kenya was fighting Somali secessionist - backed by Somali gov - and we won - not through genocide and mass hunger - but through counter-insurgency.
Remember Kenya military started fighting in pre-colonial period.
The tactics to fight guerrilla warfare were perfected in kenya in 1950s by British as they fought Mau Mau - Biafra is crap.

These are counter-insurgency warfare that British and Kenya are very good at that.

The KDF/British Mau Mau Counter-Insurgency Warfare Tactics are worldwide recognised as most effective way to fight terrorist like Boko Haram, or Afgan or Iraq or Somalia

This is why Kenya has gone to Somali - even more tougher than Boko Haram - Alshabaab basically run Somali - with HQ in Kismayu -
We had very hostile local islamic population.
But 10yrs later - Kenya has largely succeeded to pacify.

Bottom-line; Your army should come to Kenya for basic training on counter-insurgency - and you will beat Boko Haram in few months.

It very simple strategy. You go hard - very hard initially - bomb the shiet out of Boko Haram - and then you incorporate the police and intelligence to weed out remnants - and finally you make the local "like" you - so they can stop any cooperation with terrorist and build capacity. The war is over. You go home.

Check all African rankings based on military strength, and you would never see Kenya in the first 10 while while Nigeria is always in first 3!

Even you yourself knows that Kenya is not in same league with Nigeria, military-wise but you have allowed emotions to becloud your sense of logic.

They are not comparable. Kenya run a modern force. Nigeria run a militia not too disimilar to what we are seeing in Ethiopia.

Militia is easy to run - that is why with 2B dollars - you have 360,000 troops. You just give them a gun and they go shooting.

With half Nigeria budget - Kenya has 10-15 times less the troops. That tell you a KDF is earning 10 times more than Nigeria dude.
