Osimen did well to me, he was the only person causing problems for the Liberian defenders. Aside that the team needs cohesion to do better.
I thought I was the only one that reached same conclusion after watching this uneventful and uninspiring performance of the SE whom I haven't been watching for some year's due to this same consistent nonchalance with zero cohesion pattern of play that has been in the DNA of the SE for some years.

The only thing that changed is the sprinkling of the team with more biracial players but same purposeless pattern of play.

Good analysis. The laid-back attitude of this team worries me. They'll have a fight on their hands when Cape Verde come calling. I hope we don't experience CAR 2.0.
I am actually trying to be modest in my choice of words....Cape Verde came from a goal down to beat CAR 2-1 today....It's a sign they are very serious..

Super Eagles will need to bring their A game (if they have any) to beat Cape Verde in Lagos...if not...They will beat us like CAR did and We will be out of Worldcup!

It's so embarrassing seeing Super Eagles of Nigeria playing this way, especially on a very good pitch.

Is this the best Rhor can give with array of talents in his squadhuh

If we manage to beat Cape Verde and top this group to advance to the knockouts... I am yet to see the team this Super Eagles can beat from other teams topping their respective groups, if we continue to play like this!

Don't be carried away with the scoreline of 2nil....asides the two spot kicks and Simeon freekick....SuperEagles doesn't have shot on target from open play.

Nonsense!!!
You see, as much as these guys play unattractive football against lower ranked teams, you will see them up their game, when it is against a very strong team on the continent.

What's the status of Chidera Eze of Crystal Palace?

I think Nigeria should intensify to get this guy,.. I see him as a way out of our boring midfield
As for me, the guy is overrated

That's if they have opportunity to do that. Lose against Cape Verde and say goodbye to Qatar 2022!

And if there is no penalty during play, what else is he supposed to be doing?

Should the team be hoping to get a penalty as a means to wining their games?

Senegal defeated Poland in 2018, we will do same
Lewando is just one guy in a team
Is 2018 same as 2021? Poland is a very competitive football nation at the moment. Teams like Poland, Denmark nd Switzerland re giving big teams a run for their money. Nigeria never win Mexico na Poland we wan win?

No clear style of play, dem just dey play ball anyhow. We really need a creative midfielder badly. Na who dash that guy no 10 jerseyhuh Abeg that number should be reserved for a player who deserves it.

Honestly the pitch did not help play but our boys lack intensity and drive, seem they were not motivated b4 going out there.
We don't show world cup class and seem our story remain same as usual at the WC angry

Someone should tell Rohr that our problem is not strikers, we lack ball carrier, creative MF, good ball passer and our central defence is nothing near WC quality.

No, we won't lose. Pretty sure of that. We need to maintain our FIFA ranking position and will possibly be meeting any of the following- Benin, Mali, Gha/SA, EGY, CAM/CIV, who are out of the top 5 in Africa, but are heavyweights too, on the continent.

FT 0-2

A draw is enough to see us through in the last match as we are laying with the group contender with 10 points while we are on 12 points

Home match is extra boost to win the match convincingly
You will be shocked to see us losing the match.
