If you found an iPhone on the street, what would you do?
We did. 6 months ago. We’d stopped off to do some shopping, and my other half found it lying on the ground under one of the trolleys. When he looked inside the case, there were bank cards and a driving licence too. The owner was a middle aged chap with an Italian name. Fortunately it wasn’t locked so my other half phoned one of the contacts, explained we’d found the phone and where we were. The contact said she would call the chaps wife and let her know. 5 minutes later the phone rang. It was the owner. He hadn’t realised he’d dropped his phone! We told him we’d wait where we were. 10 minutes later a very relieved chap turned up. He was SO grateful that we had been honest and returned his things. He chatted with us as we walked round getting our shopping, and when we got to the tills, insisted on paying. We tried to refuse, but he said that replacing his phone, his bank cards and his driving licence would have cost far more than our few things, not only just in money, but in time and inconvenience. We then gratefully accepted, and we parted ways.

I will return it back to the owner without thinking twice. I've done it once and mine has been returned like 4x.

Just last week, I was at a pharmacy to get a tablet, It cost #1800 and I gave the pharmacist 2k. She was supposed to give me a change of #200 but instead she gave me #500, had to call her attention to it and return the money... Life no hard na we dey make ham hard

I have a friend who got an iPhone 5 this way and a cousin who got a Blackberry Bold in the same manner. Your honesty got you free groceries. We need more people like you. In the case of the iPhone 5 fellow street boys got into a fight over who would claim it and my friend arose the victor. The body of the phone bore tell tale signs of the physical struggle for dominance.
