Celebrate new heros. All these posthumous birthday get as e be. Or Nigeria don't have new heros that's why they keep on celebrating dead people?

I wonder if this is how every family celebrates the birthday of their deceased ones. It's said that for the living to move on, they should let the dead rest. All works of achebe and co should be sought out by people who are in their fields for academic and research purposes.

Wonder how many posthumous birthday usa and UK will be doing everyday.

Are they the only heros?

We don't have new heros or we don't care to discover them?
Some doctors have done some amazing medical breakthroughs in Nigeria, have we ever celebrated them?

Every day we are celebrating dead people cos of their affiliation with politics when they were alive while the real heros still living amongst us are forgotten.
The West and the rest of the world celebrate living heros everyday that do amazing things. Not people that died years ago.

Like I said, people like that are used in academic research teaching etc in their various fields not posthumous whatever. It's boring.
Next year we will start all over. Achebe posthumous birthday, awolowo posthumous birthday, The first Nigerian female Dr( have forgotten her name) why don't we celebrate her too or she wasn't a hero?

That lady pilot that was gunned down last two yrs while on duty, wasn't she a hero?
