Two traffic robbers has been arrested by the Rapid Response Square of the Lagos State police command. HGS Media Plus reports.

The suspects identified as Ojo Saheed, age 21 and Khalid Oluwole, age 28 were arrested on Friday night, November 12 were arrested along the iyana Oworo to Old Toll Gate, Ketu stretch of Lagos, Ibadan Expressway.

The suspects were in the company of some hoodlums who immediately fled the scene on sighting the police.

The suspects were said to have been combing hideouts believed to have been used by traffic robbers before attacking motorists.

The suspects however claimed they were taking Indian hemp and ICE in order to stay awake through the night.

Recovered from the suspects were wraps of Indian hemp and crystal methamphetamine (ice).

The upsurge in Crime and criminality in Nigeria today is really worrisome, who do we blame for this ugly situation?

I know so many Nigerians are facing existential crisis now, trying to subsist, but engaging in criminality is not an excuse.

Why is it that most Yorubas into crime have Muslim names? Is it because of the polygamous background in Muslim families where parents abandon their children? Not trying to be tribalistic but this is a fact. But in every major crimes perpetuated by Southwesterners, 70% of the culprits have Muslim names. Something is wrong somewhere.
