We don't necessarily need any death sentence for corruption; we just need to be more proactive, not reactive.

Just follow these steps to prevent corruption:

1. Remove immunity clause from all governors

2. Amend EFCC and ICPC acts to be more proactive than reactivate. State governments and government institutions must share their weekly spendings and earnings with the anti-graft agencies. For expenses, there must weekly explanation of what money was used.

3. Set up a tribunal that will treat only corruption cases

4. Stop constituency project allowances given to the national assembly. We have a ministry of works; all projects must be executed thru it.

I don't believe in punishing corrupt people; I believe in blocking the loopholes. That's how intelligent people run their organizations.

BTW, when I look at what Buhari has done in the area of fighting corruption, I am utterly disappointed at a government that claims to fight corruption. That man is old and bereft of ideas. He hasn't done anything differently.
