Nigerian police will not leave their police station unless you pay their "transport".

Who paid their transport?

What is the motive behind reporting the boys?

What is the state of their father currently?

There is more to this story and everything points to that neighbour.

The evil magistrate that remanded these minors in prison should be sacked.

No evidence! So if they meet my pack of painkillers in my house they would ask for receipt? They knew the man was blind but they arrested the kids anyway and set them up for prison.

This is what police would do in broad daylight without any care for due process but some foöls believe police didn’t kill anyone at Lekki toll gate when the cameras and the lights were off!

I’ve said it that if my refusal to help a police officer in danger would make me lose good money, then I’d gladly lose that money and leaver that officer to suffer. They deserve the worst the universe can give them.

A lot of people are behind bars that ordinarily should not be.

I could remember year 2007 that I was arrested and taken to Onipanti station, Lagos by overzealous people in black uniforms because of what did not happen.

What was the reason? Two families were fighting over a property. One of the families actually rented the house out to the tenants while the other party in an effort to eject tenants sent the men in Black black uniform to the house.

The men in Black uniforms as usual came with their frivolouscharges- you are selling Indian hemps in the house, you are renting guns out, people in the house are into robbery etc.

We were in the cell from 7:00am till I was released around 6pm after I agreed that the #6000.00 seized in my pocket should be used as my bail.

I dare not protest, why? I just got an invite to a training school of one of the leading Banks in Nigeria. I should report to the training school on Sunday while I was arrested on Friday and their slogan no bail on weekends.

These men in Black uniforms will and are serving as errand boys for our polithivians who ordinarily should be behind bars.

Abi, imagine someone who stole billions of naira from pension funds and is to serve only 8years in prison which I am sure he will be serving from his house because is one of them.

May God send divine intervention to all without any issues that are behind the bars.

It will never be well with the magistrate that remanded them in prison without adequate evidence.

Everything in our system is now so completely wickedly skewed against the common man.

It is so heart-rending that even the judiciary, which should ideally be the last hope of the common man, has now become one of the worst perpetrators of injustice against the poor and the vulnerable.

If these boys were sons of a VIP in Nigeria, and they stole some expensive jewelry worth millions of Naira (instead of eye drops for their elderly and blind father), you could be dead sure that they would NOT have been remanded in prison for even a single day, talkless of spending TEN MONTHS awaiting trial.
