In the wake of deaths and destruction that just happened in Awo-omamma. One can't help but notice the quiet from our pro Igbo intellectuals.

Days preceding the Anambra election, there was call by the IPOB to boycott the election which was, to me, a very bad call. Nobody wants APC in Alaigbo. We couldn't help but notice the surge in the rise of UGM in Anambra, which, if you thought about it screams political motivation. With the way APC is loathed in Alaigbo, they would be the only beneficial of a boycott.

When these attacks happened, the people masquerading as thinkers began blaming IPOB of these attacks. The same ones that were against sit at home. There arguments being that's a way of destroying the Igbo economy. Election came and gone and we stopped hearing about UGM.

It was so bad these intellectuals both on here and on twitter started threatening there kins with violence; How they would go on lynching spree of IPOB of members. A fella on twitter with the handle @iykimo maybe @iykmo or something like that (can't remember again) suggested the Obigbo massacre be carried out on parts of Alaigbo, just because of a disagreement.

Now there wishes are happening. Scores died in Awo-omamma, a whole market burnt to the ground. People's livelihoods; this Christmas; The inflation. How are the common Igbos going to survive? Do we pause for a minute and think about that?

The same banshees screeching about Igbo economy are nowhere to be seen again.

But let me end this with this law of nature. Actions beget reactions. These rampage by the NA and the blind eye of the so called intellectuals will more people to the side of IPOB, and it will get worse.

They think ipob is the problem... Nigeria will never work.. The Nigerian army is filled with Islamic jihadist.. Forget all this boko haram shiits.. Its just brothers fighting brothers for who to lead. I jus believe one day something great will happen and Nigeria will disappear.

Sorry wishful thinking has never helped and will never help. I for one have never been in support of ipob or nnamdi Kanu because they lack the intellect to rule. When you carry ant infested firewood to your compound please prepare to chase lizard. If ipob where anything close to sensible they would have prepared for these types of events or were they thinking engaging security forces was going to be a walk in the park?

God knows I pray for a country without the north but we need smart minds not nnamdi kanu or ipob those set of idiots don't think before they act. The same thing mnk and his urchins did during python dance, beat chest and when the time to show action reach they started calling United Nations, now they've started killing security forces and thinking juju will save them.

The way and manner some people reason baffles me. OP, how could you conveniently shift the blame on others when obviously, IPOB should be blamed squarely for the mishaps in the Southeast. If IPOB had not declared their self-destructive sit-at-home, none of these would have happened.
If IPOB hadn't formed and empowered ESN, none of these would have happened. When reasonable people were cautioning IPOB against some of their actions, some of you thought you knew it all. Now, you see the result?
Businesses have practically stalled; the youths ( because of idleness and frustration) have started indulging in illicit drugs.
That was how some of us here cried out against the shameful treatment meted out to Ekweremadu but so many of you were praising them. Now, you want the same elders you vilified and castigated to speak for MNK.
In fact, una matter just tire person.
