My advice to salary earners in light of the pending hike is to acquire i4( four-cylinder engine) cars in relatively good state. V6 and SUVs would induce higher fuel consumption relative to your salary.

Petrol is a security product. Remove subsidy and jerk up the price astronomically and you will regret it. Endsars riots should give some of these blockheads in power some measure of commonsense.

What we should have done since 2003 when suggested by the Obasanjo government? By now the industry would have so stabilised, and competition would have driven prices down. The inflation that will follow will be mad, this government hasn't done enough to put extra money into citizens pockets, it's been collage of bad policy, imagine trying to kick out unemployment with empower program.

Lol, Nigerians are in for a long thing. Many things shows that the people running the affairs of this nation are so daft. You pay imaginary 5k to 40million "poor people" monthly which amounts to 200billion monthly, and 1trillion in 5 months, then compare with how much spent on fuel subsidy and tell me if these guys are not mad.

This is just another wonderful avenue to loot as usual

They better not remove it else the country might go up in flames.. when you push people to the wall and they have nowhere else to face, they'll turn back and face their fears.

This country if care is not taken is on the brink of collapse. If you increase price of PMS to #300+, most people and families won't be able to feed, transport costs will increase exponentially yet minimum wage and salaries are not increasing. Isn't that disaster looming?

Na... The only thing it may cause is erode the crippling sentiment in electing leadership of this country.... which is a good thing as a matter of fact.
I have come to the point that the only thing that can save this country is widespread horrendous sufferings. Perhaps life after hell will be calm.

My question is if you remove subsidy, why will fuel sell for #340 in Lagos, then you transport the fuel to katsina using tankers and still sell at #340 in katsina? So who is paying the transportation cost? Is that not also subsidy?

Not in Niggeria you dont. Money is everything. Money is life, money is the beginning and the end. When money comes the roads will fix itself. Have you heard of obi cubana complaining about bad roads?
Haba bro think like Obi Cubana. When you hustle hard you wont need roads you will just use a helicpoter to go everywhere even if its to go take a shít.

The country will never go up in any flames. The Niggers will simply take it like they always do and grumble online.
When you push Niggerians to the wall they simply create more space to be pushed harder.
The average Nigger in Niggeira believes everything will improve once he hustles harder

He won't talk because he's using coal to grill his dead vulture meat. He'll talk when coal becomes unaffordable undecided

Btw, what's with these guys and the misconception that kerosene is the most important to the masses? Those using kerosene still take taxi from one place to the other. Hike in the cost of petrol will affect the rich who will fuel their car and the poor who will ride in cabs and buses. Crazy abokeys
