What a decent street video? You mean you want to see houses, concrete and all that from streets...in upper class residence. Why dont you try say South Africa's Joburg if say London is too much for you.

Upper class residence in kenya looks like a forest until you take a drone - if they allow - and you will see palatial houses.

vankelvin:
That's what they call *leafy residential area* grin grin as if having plenty greens mean you are developed grin grin grin grin ... They are not even ashamed of their dusty roads leading into those prime residencies.

They spent all their resources developing a tiny place so they can take pictures of those places and claim they are developed, funny people.

I'm still waiting for a decent street video of any of their so called prime residential areas. cheesy grin grin

You wouldn't still afford a property here
Properties in Ghana are the most expensive in the world.

That makes properties in your country even cheaper

Six months advance just rent is not expensive, it's a major shortage of units. Owning a home in Ghana must be a miracle in itself!

Are we asking for too much? grin grin grin grin,,

Lol

What happened to posting developments?
Where development means skyscrapers, roads are not part? You see how unenlightened you are?

Who told you development does not include residential areas? Are you alright?

Can we see the roads from street level?

Can the camera come down so we see how terrible your residencial streets are?

There is no shaortage ....its just the culture, owners want long term contracts.

6 months is security..... expensive means monthly rents are far above New York average,

Owning homes is only a miracle in Kenya, Here in Ghana, even the poorest person can get to own a home.

It's not a culture. It's simple economics and a lack of basic rules when the landlords are operating like a mafia. Nowhere else in the civilized world do people have to fork up six months rent in advance. Not even in Somalia.

It's good you've admitted kenyans *so called* development is limited to few high rise buildings and some few properties. Nothing more.

Now look for your neighbors and tell them why you think your country is develop.

Me: I think your country has more problems to deal with than my country.

That's not a good thing. The average Ghanaian must be living in squalor.

I have not admitted to anything. I find the whole exercise futile. After all, Kenya of today is Ghana's future.

I wonder how 24 houses will compare to over 2,000 in a small area of Kumasi.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-odhCQ3ve0
Those are small compared to what you will have in Kumasi and guess what, they have decent streets.

Your upper class residences will only pass for a lower to middle class residence here and they are more palatial grin grin

In the UK, Landlords ask for 6 months and above rent advance anytime they want....

It is security to both the tenant and the landlord.

This challenge is bigger than you anticipated.

It's not the usual repeatitive pictures you keep posting.. This challenge puts you out of your comfort zone cos this time around you are required to capture things from close view most especially from your so called high class residential areas.

Kenya will forever trail behind Ghana in development. Your country needs to learn how to spread development. Don't concentrate all development at one tiny CBD cos many kenyans like you live in the slums.

Less than 50 houses, that cant be compared to over 2000 in Kumasi small area.... again no roads, no drains.

Thats too small for your jungle of 57 million people. grin grin

Anyway, I'm not surprised since only 16% of properties in your country can be considered.

I wasn't comparing, just showed you a potion of ambience. To compare is to put little Ghana on a equal pedestal. Kenya of today is Ghana of 2100 AD.
