Mkenya2019:
Medium term prognosis - economic growth of 1 percent if not -ve percent.
The last15ys almost - nothing will change significantly - in RSA
As for Kenya the medium term prognosis is great - 6-8 percent growth - and GDP will probably triple by 2030 - reachin South Africa current levels.
Kenya is going to close it's infrastructure deficit.
Kenya is growing to urbanize - I think now one fastest urbanization rates - at around 4% annually.
Kenya is demographically transitioning - as population control has now bore fruits.

Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by Mkenya2019:
You're latching on to some random wild projection while your own treasury release medium term projections regularly.

http://www.treasury.gov.za/documents/mtbps/2021/speech/speech.pdf
In the first half of 2021, the South African economy recovered more quickly than
expected, reflecting less stringent COVID-19 restrictions, along with lower interest
rates, support from strong international demand and higher commodity prices.
We now expect the South African economy to grow by 5.1 per cent in 2021, from a
6.4 per cent contraction in 2020.
Over the next three years the growth of the local economy is expected to average 1.7
per cent, reflecting some structural weaknesses such as inadequate electricity supply.

The long-term decline in South Africa’s GDP growth rate (Figure 1.1) is the
result of structural weaknesses in the economy – including poor education
outcomes – and external shocks
. Weak growth is compounded by the rapid
increase in public debt (Figure 1.2), which has raised borrowing costs
across the economy
. Faster economic growth requires determined
implementation of policy reforms to promote confidence, investment,
competitiveness, entrepreneurship and job creation.

Have you managed to fix electricity first. Everything is secondary.

You're still talking about electricity when only 50% of your population has same?

You're not better - I have watched two random videos - everywhere is light outs - and generators - Kumasi, Accra and name it. Kenya quality of electricity is nearly as good as developed world now.

surely not everyone does hence why despite all the facts, you will still think you can compare Nairobi to a majestic Accra.

Until Kenyan leaders realize what development is, Ghana will keep carrying the light
Ok.

I wasn't joking though, it's pointless to compare first world nations to emerging economies. To hell with your mood btw.

Which part of Nigeria is Pretoria found?
Hello fool I wasn’t comparing anything in your zoo to first world nations. That would be madness.
I just wanted y’all to see how the richest neighborhoods in the west vv are classless since they don’t conform to kenyan standards of jungle greenery..

Nigeria actually has one of lowest debts in the world for a large country of its size. Definitely much lower than Kenya or any country from the Chinese Protectorate of East Africa.

Do you know what is HIPC..it stands for Heavily Indebted Poor Countries ..

The heavily indebted poor countries (HIPC) are a group of 39 developing countries with high levels of poverty and debt overhang which are eligible for special assistance from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank.

HIPC Initiative had identified 39 countries (33 of which are in Sub-Saharan Africa) as being potentially eligible to receive debt relief. The 37 countries that have so far received full or partial debt relief --see the list

So its a joke so certain poor country citizens here talk about debts.. grin grin
see ths list below of those poor amigos grin
