I always feel those merchants just inflate the price, then bring it down to normal during black fridays.

In Nigeria, black Friday is applicable only to junks. Sellers, stockists and malls keep important commodities aside and apply the Black Friday deals only on less important items

In Nigeria,Black Friday like almost every other things is a scam
For example.
In October- A freezer cost 120k

November black Friday Advert- Get freezer at 20% off.
Current price-N150,000
Black Friday price- N120,000
Discount-20%

When you buy the freezer at N120,000 you think you bought it at discount,it's a scam,you paid the original price.
