Good to see LGBT+ living their life. A lesson to rest of Africa. Our drunkard just made his last State of Nation Address and I think he done an okay job - compare to many in Africa.

Such a shame many Africans do not know about African. Kenyans are very worldly and know a lot about Africa and the world. I doubt you will find a kenyan who went to primary school who doesnt know Africa. Grade 7 education is essentially about Africa...Grade 6 about Kenya...Grade 5 your province...Grade 4 your district....Grade 1 is more your village.

Morocco and Magreb is near Euorope. South Africa is not. It common sense - the further the distance - the more expensive it will be to business - and less competitive. South Africa trying to trade with Europe is therefore bone-headed.
Just30:
Now Morocco has over taken SA to become Africa Automotive Hub.... How many African countries will be able to trade with Morocco?
They don't even have the financial might to do so, Morocco is busily trading with Europe because European countries are the ones with the financial might to do so.

Lol quit whining around. You know so much about other countries cos u are obsessed with them and practically idolize them silently. Whereas no one gives a fvck about ur zoo. The only popular knowledge of Kenyans out there is marathon racing and human-animal interaction. You think animal ,you think Kenya. You think jungle ,you think Kenya.

except South Africa is already doing a lot of trade with Europe and they are highly competitive.... And a lot of shipping lines use that route so their trade is competitive.

Africa has nothing to offer SA when it comes to trade.... Most African countries can't even afford the goods they produce.

The SA market alone is more lucrative than SA trade with Africa.

That's democratic progress indeed cool. I now remember the annulment of the last elections, almost forgot.

As for African education, #RhodesMustFall.and #FeesMust Fall called for the decolonization of SA education - I don't know how much things have changed since.

Yeah, I noticed most people were pretty offended by Malawi's lack of knowledge regarding Kenya grin. Those same people also didn't mention SA much when asked about their ideal African country unlike with Zimbabweans where SA declared a whitewash grin
to this day I don't know what that means
Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by Mkenya2019: 11:12am On Dec 01, 2021
It simply mean to review entire school curriculum from nursery to university - remove any racial or apartheid subtext - and replace with objective if not majority view of south african - that a few boers invaded and colonized their country. It's not Malema business to teach South Africans about their history and struggle - it's the teachers job

QUICK GOOLGE...

The starting point of decolonizing the curriculum is in the schools and classrooms that I regard as the formal education laboratories for equity and social justice in a just society. Unfortunately, many South African public schools’ curricula are not yet decolonized and thus continue to perpetuate the preparation of learners for leading western lives in a continent that is not western by nature. The South African school curriculum does little to address decolonization for equity and social justice in the South African public schools.

I had the same thought. What does South Africa have to offer  Europe? They can only gain from their manufacturing if they trade with other African countries that have less manufacturing potential. In fact, South Africa needs African nations more than the other way around. It's the same with us and our neighbors.

Is this your way of inserting tiny Ghana in the education debate? Ghana in the realism of things is small fish in a big tank.
I don't want to come out as salty, but just30 has a way of dragging Ghana into a pointless conversation. He sounds like a dude who just wants his nation to be recognized at times. grin

In short the only way for a South African to know about Africa is personal experience. It like zero education. Yes kenya now changed their education system to CBC - and people are afraid we could go South Africa way. But I think South Africa has historical problem of deliberate apartheid miseducation of blacks...the tiny white minority knew they could only stay longer if they keep african stupid.

In kenya we are dealing with problem where everyone knows so much about everything - and are not really expert on doing anything.

A random kenyan can engage any foreigner on their country issues. The problem now is it worthwhile knowing all that...or would you rather have practical skills about your trade - and just know things through personal travel or stories?

South africa type of I know Kenya because I know a Kenyan.
True! One of our less endearing national characteristics commented on frequently by our neighbours. You notice when you cross borders- non Kenyans on the surface at LEAST are more reflective and less quick to judge.
But they do admit our national intellectual quotient is higher.

Yet countries like China, EU, India and rest are keen to trade with Africa. South Africa is going down because of such bone-headed decisions. What can South Africa sell to advanced Europe that would give them margins. Nothing. What can it sell to Ghana - almost everything - and for even bigger profits.
which African country has the standard of living that SA has? The goods they produce are of high quality and mostly out of the spending abilities of most Africans.

The goods that Europe sell to Africa are mostly secondhand stuff and same for America....

India and China mostly sell Africa inferior stuff hence why they are cheap. Those inferior stuff will not even be rrleas d on their own market.

Europe has an eye for quality stuff and SA products wi do well there, Africans don't.

Polemics. No country in Africa can match Kenya quality of education except for Mauritus.

Quick look at Nigeria Primary School leaver exams that their president didnt do...it shocking. It's like Grade 2 exam in Kenya. Name this shape - that pre-school exam smiley

Just compare to KCPE exam in kenya - Final Primary Leaver Exam

It's DAY and NIGHT.
we had this discussion before

Your certification examination are of sub standard compare to WASSCE...
Those exams that you Kenyans mostly fail to the 90th percentile will easily be written by primary 6 kids either in Ghana or Nigeria.

Because of how inferior your school system is , your certificates are not recognize anywhere else.

I'm letting you know that those easy exams that you guys fail cannot be compared to WASSCE ....

You can ask your fellow Kenyans having their education here.

did you see me mention Ghana in an education issue with Kenya when we all know Kenya is not there yet?

Your fellow Kenyan was the one trying to compare Kenya easy exams that you guys always fail to the highly recognize exam of WASSCE (a standard exam that even Kenyan uni students won't pass)
