The reality is this, Jorginho has played for 3 teams in the last few years. Napoli, Chelsea and his national team. In these three teams, they have been relatively very successful and he has been crucial to that success. Infact the successful system at Napoli was built around him. Sarriball was built around jorginho's abilities to control midfield possession. And this was a football philosophy that mastered attacking football. Tuchel at Chelsea now has also commented on jorginho being very integral to his structure of the team. Likewise Mancini at Italy's national team. Not to talk of other top coaches who have commended and lavished praise on jorginho {even before this summers trophies}. Let's not even talk of guardiola obsessively going after Jorginho before Sarri intervened and brought him here.

Now this player has been recognized globally. Do you know what it takes to be the top 3 on that podium? Do you know the very unique and elite group jorginho has just joined?? Do you genuinely think trophies are the ONLY criteria for being awarded the 3rd best player on the planet??
We don't need to compare jorginho against kante, we should just be excessively overjoyed that we have 2 of the top 10 midfielders in the world playing for us.

You can't have a player who has been very successful with 3 different teams in a short space of time and say it's just coincidence. That he's just lucky. That's bullshit. We do not know better than Tuchel, Sarri, Guardiola, Mancini etc that have deeply coveted this player. Again, we should be glad we have this player amongst us. First of all, what does team football mean?
I generally understand that to mean a player who places the team's needs above his/her need for personal validation...
