GOVERNOR ABUBAKAR SANI BELLO SAYS APC NEEDS A UNIFYING NATIONAL LEADER *******AS SEN. SHERIFF VISITS TO DECLARE INTENTION FOR CHAIRMANSHIP POSITION Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State says the All Progressives Congress (APC) needs a leader that will unite every member of the party. Governor Sani Bello stated this when he received former Governor of Borno state Senetor Ali Modu Sheriff on a visit to formally declare his intention to contest for the national Chairmanship position of the APC. He said that the party was having its challenges hence the need for an experienced and credible leader that would carry everyone along. "I want us to have a stable party with a leader that would bring everyone together", he said. Governor Sani Bello described Senator Sheriff as an experienced politician being a former Governor of Borno State and Senator who has the capacity and ability to unite members of the party. While assuring him of his support, the Governor how ever urged him to accept the outcome of the election when the time comes. Earlier, the former Governor of Borno State Sen. Sheriff explained that his visit was in recognition of Governor Sani Bello's position as a high-ranking member of the party owing to his leadership position at both state and national levels of the party. He said if he eventually emerge as the chairman, he will unite all members and treat them with respect. "If I become the chairman, this party will be united. "A party cannot be a party unless you unite everybody together, you must speak to people, make them understand that everyone is equal in the party". But they always referred to the President as the leader of the party and Chief Bola Tinubu as the national leader. I wonder how these APC people show so much confusion. They have always called themselves the best and most organized party in the country. Or are they still searching for identity? Why are they looking for a leader when they have two? I believe that the string that bound CPC and ACN along with other smaller parties together has broken completely into different parts and now each side wants to take its own side. 2 Likes |

There's a huge gap - a huge difference between what is reported or shown on media or what really is going on underground. Tinubu didn't do nothing to put Buhari in power.
