That is the least of our problems when (not if) Nigeria breaks up.
I believe an agreement/memorandum of understanding will be reached. It will either be equally split or the part that benefitted the most from the borrowed funds will be given the highest share.

Nigeria is a product of an unholy matrimony between the North and South by Lord Luggard.

The ways/ideals/beliefs/mindset of the North is at so much dissonance with the South that it was doomed from the very get-go.

Thanks to Social Media majority of Nigerians are now exposed to the various footages of interviews where the Northerners have continued to express their supremacy in Nigeria and how the rest of Nigeria are just tenants who should be forever ruled.

Whether and how Awo and Zik were not privy to this information remains a mystery.
But now that we are privy to the ominous mindset of the average Northerner especially the Fulanis, it's certain that this marriage has crashed.

Buhari has even unwittingly helped the South.discover the inevitability of our split from the North as he continues to expose his bigotry and tribalistic inclinations his appointments, body language, speeches and military oppressions.

I believe 2023 will see either the break up of Nigeria as an entity or create a ground-breaking earthquake that will produce the ripple effect that will ultimately lead to the eventual break-up.

Until then, we move.
