Big Brother Naija star, Maria Chike Benjamin has been detained in Ghana Over COVID-19, IgbereTV reports.

A Twitter user who shared the news said Maria was detained by Ghanaian authorities who run fake COVID-19 tests and results to detain people and extort them. She further revealed that Maria was being detained in a stinking hostel even when she had tested negative to COVID-19.

She can ask to be kept at Mplaza Hotel Isolation centre and within few days of treatments and tests she can be out!

I thought they say Ghana is a saint towards Naija?

I read some of the comment here and I wept at the ignorance of some people .some are asking what is she doing in Ghana. For Christ sake Maria is a brand ambassador
. Some of the companies are breaking new grounds by establishing in other market . By market I mean getting their product known in other countries . The job of brand ambassador is to project that image .she is strictly there for business not for fun. Secondly this is not her first time in Ghana...they might be doing something strange this time around . She has a right to complain. .
