Obiano's Glittering Legacies: The International Convention Centre

The International Convention Centre, Awka nears completion. It is one of the outstanding legacy projects of the Obiano administration.

With capacity to accommodate over 10,000 persons, the ICC is rightly positioned to be a convention hub that will enable social and economic growth and drive development in specific areas of the economy.

In the video, attached, Commissioner for Housing - Hon Michael M. Okonkwo provides insightful details of the architectural masterpiece and explains the benefits to Anambra State.

Gov Obiano is committed to completing the ICC to ensure that ndị Anambra enjoy the benefits envisioned in its design and construction. His passion for the development of the State drives the impetus for the delivery of impactful projects even to the end his tenure.

No, no, no, the Elders are against this. I've seen many coated roofs, but this one looks rusty. It looks aged. Infact something should be done ASAP

What I'm I coming to do in Ebonyi with over 80% poverty rate, when Ebonyi people are already cursing Umahi and running to Obiano's Anambra for economic survival. Obiano met Anambra poverty rate at over 55% and reduced it to 14%, while Umahi increased Ebonyi poverty rate from over 70% to over 80%. Besides is it the cement roads you want me to come and see. ezi

Obviously, this is the best Conference Centre in Nigeria, if not Africa, when completed.

Shut up. Anambra International airport is far better than all Umahi projects. Not to mention Anambra Conference Center, Awka Mini Stadium, Golden Tulip Agulu, Onitsha Mall, Awka Flyovers, Aguleri Otu bridge, longest in SE.. Even if we forget poverty Umahi is not Obianos mate

Not bad i thank God for giving us atleast average governors since the time of ngige ,we have been blessed with some level of quality leaders that do live behind some good projects and legacy not like Abia state that have had a steady decline in leadership qualities, or enugu that the government said enugu is in the hands of God but they are busy doing nothing

I support you guys. We'd still benefit from each other mutually for sure.

And suddenly he is completing projects..... he finished the airport, he is almost done completing the awka stadium, he is building a massive recreational park and now he is completing the international conference center and all these are capital projects....hmmmmm....This doesn't add up well.... Why now? What was he waiting for all the while?
Well, honestly I'm impressed... The poverty index of anambra state is really low, the education sector is doing just fine, businesses are booming, infrastructure is at a fast rate relative to other states, politics is by the people ....well.... There is still room for more development.

I still repeat that anambra has what it takes to do better than Lagos.....

I can't wait to see how soludo will transform this state.... I hope he does a better job.

Is it their personal money?
What were they suppose to do?

Nigeria has been so corrupted that we think even if they don't do it, what are we going to do?

Progress and development is far from this part of the world!!!
