In Eastern region, Epie-Attisa people always aligned with NCNC and were rewarded with juicy posts to the anger of Izons.
I once saw this in a literature review like that.
Let me search for it and post here now.

I guess Ukiwe and co had this in mind when they favored Yenegoa as the capital of Bayelsa state.
Your lies and frustrations end here.
Anger wey make other Ijaw give Paulker an Opolo Epie man Bayelsa central Senator for 20 straight years shey?
Foolish Ibo man.

How can you give him Senate position in his own senatorial district.
Are you insinuating that Epie people don't have right to be senator?
That it is yours(Ijaws) to keep or give out?

As iliterate as u are only one person rule senatorial district for 20 years out of 22 years nd u are opening your useless mouth nd speaking nonesense.
Bayelsa Central senatorial district only Southern Ijaw LGA in that district have 180 towns with out adding the rest LGA.
Foolish man.
I pity for those who take Ibo serious anywhere in d world.

This thread would've turned out different had critcs of the Op been able to string up few intelligible sentence to counter his claims rather than embarking on repetition, self quote, and advertent/inadvertent ethnic loathe.

Please Epies are not Ijaws.

I didn't know about this until I visited Akenfa, Yenagoa. Those Epies told me blankly that they are not Ijaws.

They don't even speak the same language.

I saw a war called Odiarabara war by Epie.
In my Kolokuma dialect it means.
The war that came from the Strenght of the Odi citizens.

Let me check for more.
You too dey see a lot. It is not in seeing but they are not ijaw. The Ejeghans, some ikweres not all etc bear and speak a whole lot of Igbo and have Igbo names yet you still agree that they are not igbos. Why crying , wipe your tears son. This people are saying they are a whole different ethnic nationality from ijaws. Do not bring issue of igbos or Biafrans here. This article emanated from their prominent son . Don't ever joke with it

That's shocking to know that the real ijaws are squatters in Yenagoa. It's good to study history. The Epies, the real owner and indigenous people of Yanogoa

Bayelsa is the least populated state in Nigeria. I heard that some local government areas in Lagos is bigger than that state. Alimosho lga is more populated than yanagoa and ikeja is six times wealthier than the whole of Bayelsa state despite the oil.

I just saw ETETE as Epie name.
Another ETETE
Dan Tari ETETE from Kolokuma clan signed Bayelsa creation with Abacha.

Igbos and lies.
I laugh do hard at your submissions here. You kept on calling the igbos. Epie man don say e no bi Ijaw and here you are attacking the igbos. Will you keep kwayet. U are killing me with laughter. Are you sure you are even ijaw. Check well

Igboid:
No it's not.
Ijaw is a political franchise not an ethnic group.

Epie-Attisa people are Edoid speakers. They speak like Isoko people.
And they have a history of migration from Edo state.
They are the owners of Yenegoa.

I thought for once Ijaw have a State solely for themselves.....So there are Ediod people in Bayelsa too,wow even would them allow a capital to be place in a none ijaw environment

They claim Ijaw when necessary for Political advantages,as per Nigerian crude oil politics and pipeline protection deal.
Re: Meet The Epie-Atissa People of Bayelsa State. by Ofodirinwa: 3:32am On Dec 08, 2021
Yenegoa is not Ijaw?
lol, didn't know
Re: Meet The Epie-Atissa People of Bayelsa State. by EzeCanada: 4:55am On Dec 08, 2021
Igboid:
Nope.
It wasn't.
Linguists had long studied all the Languages in Nigeria.

Epie-Atissa is an Edoid language.
Degema (Udekeme) is Edoid
Engenni is Edoid (Burna boy is from this ethnic group)

Ogbia (GEJ ethnic group) is Ibibiod (Cross-River language group)
Abureni is Ibibiod
Abuloma (Obulom) is Ibibiod
Andoni is Ibibiod
Odual/Abua is Ibibiod.

All these groups are not Ijaw people.

Enough of the Ijaw fraudulent Political franchising of independent groups in riverine SS.

It has gone on for too long unchallenged. This fraud cannot be tolerated any more.
Valid

I didn't realize how diverse Bayelsa was. I don't think there's another southern group with that much diversity. Only Cross Rivers comes close.
I don't even think Bayelsa has a majority.

In Bayelsa they call the place Goodluck Jonathan is from Igbo lol (Ogbia)

Because all the chiefs you mentioned cannot answer Ijaw names if they are not Ijaws.....

You made a mistake of putting down the names, it makes your thread look joke......

You said e

I thought Ijaws of Ondo bear Yoruba names too? 95% of them .. However, those are not exclusive Ijaw names. I could see Igbo names as well.

Please, let's respect to rights of minorities. What good will it do to commit identity genocide on the good people of Epie-Atissa because the are not majority?

I know King malla sasime even when he wasn't a king, he identified as an ijaw Man. Ekealterego doesn't know, that even the name Ogio was a King in Nembe in 1632 when Nembe was unified and bassambiri hasn't been founded.
You took time to reply him.
When I saw that post, I laughed it off.

In my Kolokuma dialect it means doesn't like to buy it.
We know Ijaw add other people's lexicons in their own language to increase their hold. It is called Borrowed words.

None of those names has it root words in Ijaw.
Ijaw are from Togo.
