No there is just one big pineapple farm of 1,000 acres smiley smiley That is very tiny - i think they have planted 100 acres or so smiley

Want to see pine-apples - here is Delmonte Farm and Factory in Kenya - export fruits and juices all over East Africa.

Cirio Del Monte Kenya owns a 10,000-acre (40 km²) pineapple plantation and employs approximately 6,000 workers (2006 estimate). Approximately 60% of the workforce is female (2004 estimate). The company employs three types of employees: permanent staff, seasonal workers and casual laborers.

Ghana babies trying to compare it's nascent agricluture with Kenya.

Next time you take Del Monte Juice - check it could be from Kenya

Del Monte Kenya Limited is also one of the single largest exporters of Kenyan products, moving 4000 containers of pineapple products and other fruit...

Learn to crawl before you take Kenya word class agriculture.

Del Monte Europe.
Have you ever wondered how Del Monte pineapple is sourced and grown, then brought to your plate?
It starts in our own farms in Kenya, where the Pineapple is handpicked when it’s perfectly ripe.

As usual

useless noise

Ghana produces over 950,000 metric tonnes of Oranges out of which, 200,000 metrice tonnes is exported....

This is too much production such that plenty are left on farms to rot

Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by Mkenya2019: 10:37am On Dec 08, 2021
Production look legit - about 750K - but export is almost zero...Why dont your export? even as fruit concentrates

Ghana oranges export values
In 2019, Ghana exported oranges valued at 0.32m USD, a drop of -50.23% from 2018's total oranges export of 0.643m USD. The annual reduction in value of Ghana oranges between 2017 to 2018 was 40.393 pc.

When it comes to Mangos - Kenya by 2017 was Africa 3rd largest producer.

Kenya has increased over the last ten years, and the
quantities produced between 2005 and 2017 more
than tripled from 254,113 tons to 772,700 tons, making
it the third-largest mango producer in Africa.

By now we probably have overtaken FAKE Nigeria - and are 2nd to Egypt.

Egypt 1,277,008
Nigeria 917,617
Sudan 785,940
Kenya 734,658

Tanzania has zero potential. Absolutely zero. I was talking to a kenya lady uber driver yesterday and she told me she has met Tanzanian kids (14yrs) looking for jobs around - and when he asked why they are not in school - they said in TZ - after primary education - most people leave school. In meantime kenya has Africa's only 100 percent transition from primary to secondary - and there is a lot of effort to get vocational colleges working.

People who think TZ has potential look at minerals (natural) resources - they don't look at their hopeless HUMAN RESOURCES.

Kenya is good example of what investing in Human Capital does to a country.

Until TZ takes HCI seriously - it's going nowhere. It's another Nigeria.
Tzn kids here competing with our kids? How,who, why? They've no English/work ethic or smarts to even begin! Things in CCMland must be narrrrrrow!

Everyone as seen Egyptian Oranges or Citrus fruits - nobody has seen Ghana. So you produce a lot and cannot export the excess - then something is wrong with your country.

Look at Kenya Mango production - that has risen rapidly - and we are exporting rapidly. So are Avacados and many other fruits.

According to data from HCD, Kenya is the fourth largest producer of mangoes in Africa, with a 1.8 per cent global production share of 0.9 million tonnes. Mango is the second-highest exported fruit in Kenya, contributing to 10.80 per cent of total fruit export.

and yet maize and beans are your country staples

Make that make sense.... You waste all your lands growing tea and flowers that keeps your nation hungry yearly just to satisfy Europeans.

I'm yet to see a high value crop in your country grin
Gbam!
The bolded sums up Little India's pathetic situation. Mind you, the tea and flower farms are mainly owned by Europeans in Kenya. Yet the flower farms flush their pesticide and herbicide wastes into village rivers to poison ordinary Kenyans. They also pay the Kenyans slave wages. Yet, you see donkeys come here to hype the same schemes that enslave them.

In case you've not noticed, Kenya is the poster child for neo- colonialism in Africa.

You can only wish to overtake Nigeria in mango production. It spreads here like wildfire. When the mango season comes, the fruit even becomes a nuisance.

Let me know when Kenya Agric export reach about 6 billion dollars, then we will talk

PROVERBZ:
the reason why I said engaging you is stupid.

As a student studying petroleum and gas engineering there are so many reasons why Nigeria's gas reserves remain untapped even tho we have huge deposits of them.

I wrote term papers on a few ways to solving those problems and building this pipelinealong with others that connect the reserves to places where the gas would be utilised is one of them.
And that's why the akk gas pipeline to Kano is being constructed.
You are a total illiterate and a total fool I can see the poor education is affecting your brain. Go to America Saudi Arabia and other countries where they have their gas and oil is where the infrastructure is but Nigerian illiteracy is where they have the info gas they want to transport it's hundreds of kilometres away to be utilised. Your education has turned out to be a complete failure we have the oil and natural resources like gas in the Southern part of Nigeria but rather we go and put the infrastructure to utilise that oil and gas in the North and in the South West transporting it and loan becomes a huge loss. You need to just look at Ghana where their gas is is where they are putting the gas power station at the Refinery for processing gas. Nigeria's problem has always been illiteracy, not that government,. All the infrastructure which will build to other countries are not operating and we want to build more even the power lines which we put to Benin Republic and Cameroon and no more in operation. It's only an illiterate which does the same thing every time and want a different result. This is where the government has failed and will keep on failing with the illiterate citizens. All the infrastructure which has to do with gas or oil have to be put in the south south. This is one of the biggest reasons dangote refinery is taking long to complete because the transportation of the products from the south-south to the south west got a lot of money. Look at order African countries and Lane where the natural resources is is where they put the IV and structure. This is the illiteracy of our education in Nigeria we just wake up one day and want to do the impossible. Do people in northern Nigeria which are dying of poverty and hunger will now be able to afford the gas when they cannot even afford water.
