I disagree, RLC seems more casual than Barkley from CM position, RLC kind of play is more suited to be an AM than CM and I think I have said it here severally.Unless he works on himself, he would still be looking like an amateur from that CM position.

You don't know what you are saying. Barkley with poor passing and articulation in midfield is who you say is better as a CM?

Barkley is more as the spirit leads than RLC. They both could be more careful but Barkley is more careless. These guys are both AMs, same with Gallagher, you can't expect them to have the same efficiency of ball retention as a CM, but RLC is the closest of them all

Exactly. I watched Barkley at CM many times to know this. Always getting out of position, attempting unnecessary risky passes that puts his defence under pressure. That guy has no business as a CM.

Lewis Baker can do CM job with precision but he's not registered for UCL. Drinkwater is on loan.

We should recall Drinkwater Jan if we can’t get a good CM. We need a proven EPL product.

These DM/CM combos without an actual DM or CM are always likely to end in tears. Injuries don do is strong thing really.

On the ball, Zenith isn't a team where you have to tumble with everybody, a few decent balls in from his position will make the Zenith defense jittery...
On the injury front, many teams have battled with injuries and most of your injuries aren't long term considering Jorginho, Kovacic and Kante have played intermittently this season...
Tyler Morton and Neco have played more minutes than Firmino, Thiago, Milner and Keita..
