This is why I laugh when I see people criticizing America for having a second amendment. Even though it has some disadvantages but the advantages outweigh it by far. Firstly there will never be a sit tight tyrannical government in America, and the regular citizen have a recourse to defend himself from oppression like the one's we see in Nigeria from this braindead security officers.

How does Sm1 break ur glass for no reason?? The man should start by saying what exactly led to the incident.

It is a Known fact Nigerian civilian and more specifically Lagos drivers are very unruly. U were asked to stop and u refused to stop or slow down cos they were allowing others to pass. It that not a wrong?

That area is a Naval zone and many naval officers operate there on various duties. U don’t disobey a traffic instruction then cry like a victim when dealt with.

Nigerians are very unruly and ill mannered.
Y can't the man be arrested and taken to court for his offense.
Animal behavior everywhere no wonder nobody regard Nigerian citizens again.
Go and do it in other countries and see whether you will go free. Nonsense country

We seriously hope so. But the power government has over Nigerians is the fear of dying by guns. When people are starving to death that fear evaporates.

Who would have thought people will have the effrontery to be burning police buildings. Nigeria has changed a lot
.. and will change some more. Those guys are just lucky that Nigeria s are docile. They know it. I have heard from military men that if there is a mass uprising, they wont be be to contain it. My question now is since they know such, they wont take steps to keep the peace but keep prodding citizens. 9f that isnt foolishness l, I dont know what to call it

So why do you think if there is a mass uprising against government officials oppression...the government officials will win even if they have superior arms.

You see say you no get sense. Or in your foolishness you think if government officials go on a killing spree and continue to kill its citizens...it wont escalate from sticks and stones to guns and bombs.

Every day i see american soldiers treated with respect by its citizens in everything...because they know that rather than an an american soldier turning his gun on fellow citizens...he or she will shoot the officer that gave such a command.

For jobs market dem active service and military veterans are first choice. Airports boarding same thing, military discounts everywhere in retail stores. Everywhere you go you hear " thank you for your service" because their job is to "protect and to serve" its citizens.

Shame no catch you to dey talk sey you go finish your own citizens with bullet...if i see you i suppose dash you better slap.

QuickStandard:
Though I strongly condemn this act, but there's no way on earth a naval officer will just smash someone's car for no reason.

@ OP you need to tell the whole story or remain silent. NAF is not NPF. Those guys still have some class

Modified: I just remembered this is Nigeria under Buhari. Anything is very possible cool
Yeah, I know anything is possible. But to say that a Naval officer just smashed his screen for doing nothing is not totally correct. it could be the officer had asked him to stop but he refused.
The OP should tell us what he did.

Oga, don't be deceived. If really a Military man said this, then he was only trying to be civil. All throughout the country, the security personnel didn't use MAXIMUM FORCE against protesters last year because they were avoiding massacre.

For your mind abi. Maximum force that you cant employ in North east, maximum force that you cant employ in Niger, Zamfara and sokoto against a rag tag bunch. For your mind a total military force of less than 400k strong can over power a population of about 150 million abi. Please use logic when arguing not emoti9n

If one million protesters had showed up to that rally what would the military have done? Conduct airstrikes?

I'm not here to argue with you. I only responded to the comment so don't deviate.

Besides, I hope your 150 million people doesn't include the armed forces' personnel and children undecided and YES! They can all be killed if it happens.

You should also know that what's happening in the North is POLITICAL. People are becoming millionaires with the unrest in the North.

I dont have to agree with your response either. You are not doing me a favour by responding to my comment.
If you are a service member and this is how you and your colleagues reason when faced with facts and figures, then its no surprise thatbyou cant win a war against a ragtag bunch ( politics or not) . Unfortunatley Nigerians are too cowardly for us to really test your theories. Maybe they will grow some balls some day but for now we can only hope

It is only natural and expected that military personnels have and show more courage and bravery than a civilian as the aim of their training wouldn't have been achieved.

Nigerians are not cowards.
