I don’t wanna bore anyone with long storyline

I’m a graduate of geography and planning sciences
I graduated with a 2.2

Currently undergoing

Nysc

Due to the situation of the country right, i mean with the number of unemployment rate out there

Is it advisable to go for a post graduate course or a professional courses just to have an edge in labor market?

I was actually thinking about going for a professional course in estate management, since Geography and planning sciences is not sellable in Nigeria apart from the military’?

Can anyone Suggest the step i can take just to have more edge in labor market?

Go for a professional course. I suggest any of these:

- Data science
- Database management
- GIS (this may not be as much in high demand as the 2 above but it is related to your area of study).

You want people who have been in the labor market for years with nothing to show for it to give you tips on how to stand out in the market of labor?
You are not okay sir.
Print your CV on a cardboard paper instead of A4 paper. You will stand out.

So, you think that EVERYONE on NL is jobless just because you are jobless? Yet, you think you are OK and the OP is not. Well, I'm not surprised because, it has been proven that mad people think that everyone is mad. Lalasticlala please help the OP. I think there are many people on NL who may need/offer advise on this.

Since you are a Geography major, I opined that you learn ICT skills that is related to your field like GIS, Autocad, et al.
Furthermore, you can get ICT professional certification from firms like Aptech, NIIT,etc.
