1st January to 23rd May (End of 2020/21 season):

Salah for Liverpool - 9 goals and 2 assists = 11 goals contributions in 21 matches = Trophyless


Lukaku for Inter Milan - 13 goals and 8 assists = 21 goals contributions in 22 matches = Serie A champion


January to December 2021:

Salah for Egypt 2 goals and 3 assists = 5 goals contributions in 7 matches

Lukaku for Belgium 10 goals and 1 assists = 11 goals contributions in 10 matches

Most leagues even start September, so players don't care about August when only England is playing.
