Spurs' Son contributed more to goals from January to May 23, 2021. Salah's output during that period, was low compared to when you won the league penultimate season. Liverpool felt it.
Salah fired us through when he was needed the most as you said. April to May, Mo was on fire...
Liverpool played through an injury crisis which Tottenham didn't have...

Gallagher showing why we say he's not a CM. Losing ball sloppily for Brojas goal

This Willy Caballero must really love football to be playing as 3rd keeper for Southampton at the age of 40. This man never tire to make money?
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by pkasso(m): 9:40pm On Dec 15, 2021
There is no justification whatsoever for Salah not making that FifPro XI list. Whether he deserves to make the actual first XI is a much closer debate. Lukaku also deserves his place on the list despite his recent dip in form. What i find surprising is no one talking about Neymar making that list. That guy has declined in the last year and a half at the very least. I'm not even going to talk about the other categories. Things like this make it hard to disagree with those who write off these awards as glorified popularity contests.

Gallagher vs Broja

Seems Broja has the upper hand thus far.

Just learned Juventude coach converted Thiago Silva from a midfielder to a defender at the age of 20. No wonder man is so classy on the ball

I hope we get to integrate some of these boys in the team next season. With this performance, Broja will be benching Havertz in Chelsea grin

Just imagine the possibilities with a mobile power house like this guy who can actually shield his defence thereby reducing the burden on the defenders unlike that spineless virtual DM who can't control a ball or make a tackle even if his life depends on it - he just doesn't care.

Smooth penalties all the same.

Broja should be on 4 PL goals now; a decent return considering he's made few starts. Add a handful in other competitions and for Albania, and he should be in double digits already.

Your point about Neymar is valid. I would have used Harry Kane (not Salah) to replace him.

so you know he is good on the ball grin, why do you think I was one time clamouring for him to be put in the midfield? I have seen him playing there for Ac Milan and he did well.

On the wings of a 3-4-3/3-4-2-1

I'm thinking that's where he'll fit in best.

There's no way Kane gets on this list ahead of Salah. His atrocious form this season dampens whatever chances he might have had. But wait o, wetin Salah do you people? The man is arguably the most in-form player on the planet and people are still casting doubts as to if he deserves a place on ordinary preliminary list for the best players in the world. Na wa oh!

How will a 37 year old man play midfield? Energy has never been important to you in midfield that's why you love Mikel, Busquet, Fabregas, Carrick

The boy is good. We would have been fine with just Havertz and Broja as strikers

Yeah......i have kante to help out. My idea midfielder should be able to make use of the ball first before anything. Of what important is marking when you would still lose the ball ?

Yeah at least he once helped him to the league title and maybe if Costa was not replaced with Morata by silly Conte you would have had a point though .

The year in question is August 2020 to August 2021. Count down starts from beginning of last season to his role at the Euros. It is why people who were angry Messi won over Lewandowski were missing it.
