To be fair, there were no more attackers. The closest thing to an attacker we had left was Kante. But still, you have a point.

Speaking of Kante, why not bring him on? Let Kante replace RLC, Barkley replaces one of the attackers and if you must bring in Saul, let him replace Alonso.

TT messed this one up abeg. But only after our attackers messed it up. By that stage, we should have been cruising.

Honestly, I don't really blame Tuchel. The odds are stacked against him. Injury has already denied him key midfielders, now COVID wiped out the other attacking options, leaving him with an ultra-thin squad.
It's not like we didn't dominate the game and still create chances. We were just very very unlucky.

Tuchel has been dealt a terrible hand. I still cannot explain our bad luck every December, doe 5 years in a row now. Hope we snap out of it. We are still title contenders. Other will also slump at one point or the other. Hopefully we capitalize then.

They were not clinical enough many times RLC was escorting iwobi or Doucoure. They only scored through the free kick though I don’t know what TT plan was to isolate the midfield with Barkley at CM
