I noticed that there are few techs handling ecu repairs here in naija, its a very good field for anyone who dares to learn and invest on it. So for those who don't have a job ,this is one. Some ecu cost a fortune, repairing them is a good business idea. Oya youths ,take over

Ecu learning is not a big deal, any technician in the radio department or laptop can fix it. But the issue is with parts and viability of the business. ECU is board with ICs and necessary components like heatsinks, diodes, resistors etc.

What I noticed is our technicians are now lazy they don't study the boards like before and trace circuits like those I know 20 years ago. Now nah to replace bad circuit nobody get time to do hard work and hard work used to pay back then.

It's way more than that bro, the ecus u are talking about are the very old ones, newer models go bad due to different issues, software, hardware. Under hardware the least is a damage on the circuit, ics (drivers) can go bad due to many issues. It's actually a wide scope of study
